Ghanaian emerging artist MOLIY has secured the World Artist of the Year award at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, triumphing over notable contenders such as Ayra Starr, Jackson Wang, JO1, and Tyla.

This victory, revealed during a glamorous ceremony, signifies a significant global milestone for the Ghanaian star, who had already earned recognition as the most-nominated African artist at this year's event with three nominations: World Artist of the Year, Best New Artist (Hip-Hop), and Best Music Video (socially voted) for her viral track “Shake It to the Max (FLY) (Remix)” featuring Shenseea, Skillibeng, and Silent Addy.
